And that’s why I brought these pictures of a youth room that just had that problem. To decorate it, what has been done has been to highlight rather than hide, and the solution was perfect.
The walls are painted with a rustic finish in gray (in bruinbetas can learn this technique and also paint imitating stone, to obtain a similar effect on your walls). The pillar against the wall and protruding corner where the bed is coated with a fun wallpaper gray with white lettering, elegant and timeless. The inside of the left corner of this photo also papered and to create a sense of continuity.
Moreover, both the abutment and the corners have been used to install a bunch of shelves with invisible fastening systems in fuchsia pink. Since this is a teenager’s room, we have chosen this color for a feminine and modern at once, but a boy’s bedroom can be adapted by simply painting the shelves in gray steel, black, white or blue, for example.
To save space, the bed is placed just above the floor, futon style, fuchsia on a pedestal that hides a mattress to provide comfort. The white accents (roof, curtains and wall) and soil in light wood finish decorate this beautiful room.
